MultiTrack DAW App Reviews

Nicely done

Excellent price to performance ratio. IAA inserts a nice touch.

Top Shelf!

Another great update! Now with looping until you "got it right" option! New device support too! This is one my favorite apps! Even tho I have more "complicated" more expensive DAWs for iPad, this is the one I always goto! Theres just enough bells and whistles to get a very good multitrack recording (depending on your device) and if you include it in the audio chain of AudioBus youre pretty much good to go until "mastering" The devs keep supporting this app which Im very grateful!! This is app is Top Shelf! Thanks Harmonic Dog for your continued support of such a great user friendly app!

Great

Its pretty good and works very well. I would like to say you guys should add a 6 band parametric equalizer and also more effects like chorus or auto tune . Also let it export into MP3 file , its more convenient

Best writing tool ever!!

In my opinion DAW still the best app for sketching out songs with a guitar. Its a wonderful writing tool! So congrats. And another thing that sets DAW apart from all the other apps its the ease of punching in on DAW when composing vocals on the fly. Nice work! It is critical that an app allow a singer to stay focused on singing and composing and not have to look at the phone when punching in and out of record. The more you can make this easy and "big button feel" the better. I do have a suggestion that you add an auto punch feature that does not require a set punch out. One thing I still cant do is play along with a guitar and then auto punch in and simply stay in record without having to set an arbitrary punch out point later on. Cheers! Lij

6s+ bug isnt fixed

A bug mentioned as fixed still exists. Buttons in menus not working. Unusable!

Still the best

Great update from the best multitrack app on iOS to date. Theres nothing else youd want at the end of your AB chain.

Fantastic App!!! (But...)

I have been getting to know this app for a couple of days now, and so far I love it! After numerous attempts at trying to cope with the iOS GarageBand (deleting it, re-downloading it, trying again) and not making head or tail out of it, I tried Multitrack DAW, and after just a couple of 1-2 hour exploratory sessions, I have figured it out well enough to do some wacky electronic music, and an acoustic classical guitar duet. The sound quality is great, the built in reverb is excellent, and once I got past a bit of "learning curve," it was quite easy to navigate. My only complaint is that manual/docs/help file doesnt quite match the app. For example, the docs described how to move a region, and there is no such command anywhere in the app. But, so far, I have managed to figure it out without too much trouble. There is also a great web site with forums and lots of additional help. All in all, a great app, well worth the EXTREMELY REASONABLE PRICE.

Professional Quality Recording Interface!!!

This app has helped me create many amazing songs! Worth every cent & more! If youre a songwriter who wants a good recording resource with the convenience of being just a few clicks away, this app will not disappoint!!

Best iOS DAW period...

Ive tried most of em and none compare to the ease and simplicity of Multitrack DAW. The GUI is great and the workflow is seamless... youll be tracking in seconds with this app. Hope theyll consider integrating drum loops into the app in the future since doing so would add one more level of simplicity to an already near perfect program. Nice works guys.

The Best Mobile DAW

This is the DAW your looking for. Barebones, but it has the main things you need. Compression, EQ, Reverb, Delay. Nice work people, nice work.

Easy to Use and Great Sound

When I first started using MultitrackDAW I wasnt exactly sure how it all worked, though much was obvious and intuitive. To my surprise the manual was a quick and easy read and made me an instant expert. Other DAWs boast about their advanced features but this one is intuitive to work with once you learn the basic command to tap and hold, which brings up a menu--then just slide to the option you want. The sound quality is impeccable. I spent a lot of money on a couple of other DAW apps but I have exclusively used this one--its so easy. The Audiobus and IAA implementations are advanced. It has automatically supported every audio interface I have plugged into my iPhone and iPad, and Ive tried several. The only thing I wish it had was MIDI sync with other apps and devices. Ive been able to make do by putting count-in notes on the tracks, so Ive been able to line-up every track accurately, especially thanks to the snap feature. The snap feature is powerful. By setting Multitrack DAW to the same tempo as the audio, clips can be sized precisely--perfect for creating loops to use in other apps.

Daw

Poor quality not worth it

Had this for years...

My buddy will email me music he makes on Garage Band. Ill import it into my DAW, record vocals, add FX, and email it back to him. Its pretty convenient and I do it all on my iPhone 5. Anyways, Good App. -The Scalers

Wow.

I didnt know I could get such quality from an app but Lo and behold, I can multitrack from my phone. Thanks so much! Perfect for a singer like me

One of the best

Great app and even better support.

More integration please

Very easy to use and great app. Just lacking the ability to import/export files to/from other sources like iCloud, Google Drive, or Dropbox.

Never crashed!

Rock solid and simple to use with great (but very) features. If you just want to record stuff and edit it, this is for you.

Great app

I like everything about the app, just one thing, it would of be great if you add some voice effects like autotune, that effect that make you sound like you are talking on the phone, thanks.

Excellent multitrack app!!!

Id say this is even better than some desktop DAWs. Ive exclusively been writing, arranging and producing songs with this app. Very well done !

Reverb setup?

How do add reverb to my vocals fx? Please tell me
